What are SCORE's fees for its service?
There is a charge for our service of £149.00 (inc VAT), which can be claimed against your tax liabilities. Should there be a requirement of us to carry out further work on your endorsement this will be charged at £50.00 per hour (inc VAT); you will be informed of any extra work needed, and it's likely cost to you, prior to our starting on it. A telephone consultation to discuss your PRTL or training plans will is provided free of charge for the first 15 minutes, and then at £10.00 (inc VAT) per each additional 15 minute period or part of. |

What counts towards PRTL?
Briefly this could include: training courses, seminars, providing training, presentations, and research. |

Have I done enough PRTL to be accepted?
At present the rules are quite flexible as to what is included and, as long as what you are claiming is part of a logical pattern of professional development, it is probably acceptable. The total of 90 hours is not flexible. If you have any concerns we are happy to offer a telephone consultation, before your endorsement interview, to talk through what you have done and what can be included in the log. |

What makes SCORE unique?
Score was set up as a response to the problems independent social workers were having with renewal of registrations. It is a company created by social workers for social workers. We have had the same problems! |
