One of the regular questions we are asked is "What if I am not able to meet the criteria for re-registration?". SCORE aims to support all social workers to meet the criteria set out by the GSCC. Where somebody is not able to meet the criteria we will work with them to develop a portfolio that will be acceptable. This will take extra work by both SCORE and the candidate, which we will do at our 'extra work' rate of £50.00 per hour.

If this is apparent upon receipt of your application, we will only charge you an administration fee of £25.00 prior to starting the work. It is likely that real issues only become apparent during the interview, in which case the full interview fee of £150.00 will be payable. In this situation we will be able to assess your progress through the extra work that we do with you, and as such a further interview fee will not be required.
