In order to renew your registration as a social worker you will need to complete an application form provided by the GSCC. The form can be found at this link. This application will need to be endorsed by someone prepared to vouch for your conduct and professional development, this is where SCORE comes in.

For those social workers renewing their registration the endorser needs to be someone who has known them as an employee over the last three years, and can confirm that the necessary post-registration training and learning has been completed.

If you have not had that continuity of employment you may find that your current employers are not willing or able to give that endorsement. This is where SCORE can be of assistance to you.

Once SCORE is confident that your application should be endorsed we will sign your form so that you can send it to the GSCC for registration. In essence we act as a substitute for an employer. This is a special arrangement with the GSCC that only SCORE is able to offer.
